In today’s digital age, where children are often immersed in mobile phones and video games, Aryabhatta International School, Barnala took a beautiful step towards reviving our rich cultural roots by organizing a Punjab Heritage Games activity for students of Grades 1 to 3 from the Primary Wing.

🌿 Under the able guidance of Ms. Kiran Bala, Ms. Sukhpal Kaur, and Ms. Sukhjeet Kaur, the little ones experienced the joy of playing traditional Punjabi games like Kikli, Kotla Chhupaki, Gulli Danda, and Hide and Seek..

πŸ’¬ During the event, the teachers also shared the importance of these heritage games — how in earlier times, children used to play together, build bonds, stay active, and learn through shared experiences. These games not only offered entertainment but also encouraged teamwork, fitness, and emotional bonding.

πŸŽ“ Principal Mr. Shashikant Mishra and Coordinator Ms. Manpreet Chawla emphasized that such cultural activities are regularly organized in the school to ensure the holistic development of students and to keep them connected to the proud heritage of Punjab.

πŸ“Έ The energy, smiles, and excitement of the children during the games clearly reflected that our traditions are still alive — they just need to be rekindled in the right way....
