Aryabhatta International School,Barnala celebrated the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great devotion and grandeur. The school premises were decorated with colorful decorations, flowers, and flags, filling the atmosphere with devotion and joy.
The program began with a prayer and Krishna bhajans. Students from the Senior Wing organized traditional Dahi Handi in which children participated enthusiastically, showcasing team spirit. The event was a lively representation of Krishna's childhood exploits.
In the Primary Wing, young children dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, Yashoda Maa, and gop-gopis, giving a charming performance on stage. The cultural programs presented by the children, including dances, bhajans, and glimpses of Krishna's leelas, captivated the audience.
Principal Mr. Shashikant Mishra said on this occasion: "Krishna Janmashtami is not just a religious festival but also awakens moral values, culture, and devotion in children. Such events help students develop respect and understanding for Indian traditions. Our students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and dedication, which is commendable."
The program concluded with the distribution of prasad and wishes for everyone's well-being.
