An engaging activity about the traditional Punjabi calendar months (Barah Maha) was organized for Grade 4 students at Aryabhatta International School, Barnala. During this session, teacher Sukhjeet Kaur explained to the students that there are 12 traditional Punjabi months in a year, each with its own unique importance. She highlighted how every month is associated with different festivals or significant days. The students were given detailed information about each of the months and enthusiastically participated by reciting the names of the traditional months.
Principal Mr. Shashikant Mishra and Coordinator Mrs. Renu Singla shared that the aim of such activities is to enhance students' mental development and to ensure they gain knowledge about the traditional Punjabi months alongside the English calendar months.
