"The natural environment sustains the life of all beings universally"
World Environment Day was first celebrated in 1973. The United Nations General Assembly established the day in 1972, designating June 5 as the day to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Aryabhatta International School, Barnala, knows the significance of the participation off young minds to save this planet. Recently an activity was organized on the occasion of World Environment Day by our youngsters Ardaas, Jasmeet Kaur and Avneet kaur under the supervision of Ms Harwinder Kaur. The students explained When World Environment Day is celebrated, followed by a discussion on the importance of environmental conservation and various aspects of protecting the environment.
The students also shared their suggestions for solving environmental problems, such as tree plantation by throwing light on the benefits of forests. They understood their responsibility towards the environment and took a pledge to fulfill it.
The objective of this activity was to make students understand the importance of environmental conservation and raise awareness about it.
Through this effort, the school aims to help students develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment and contribute to building a clean and green future....
