🌟 Exploring the World of Big & Small, Tall & Short, Heavy & Light! 🌟
Classes: LKG & UKGActivity In-charges: Mrs. Mamta & Mrs. Abhinash
At Aryabhatta International School, we believe that the best learning happens through hands-on experiences and joyful exploration. Keeping this philosophy alive, our tiny tots from LKG and UKG recently participated in a vibrant and meaningful activity designed to introduce the concepts of big-small, tall-short, and heavy-light through creative and real-life objects.
✨ The activity, beautifully planned and conducted by Mrs. Mamta and Mrs. Abinash, was filled with excitement and fun. Using a wide variety of everyday objects, the children were taught to observe and understand the differences in size, height, and weight, while also learning about shapes and colours in a playful and engaging manner.
👀 From comparing a tall bottle with a short one, to lifting objects and guessing their weight – the little learners were fully immersed in this interactive session. Their enthusiasm and curiosity turned the classroom into a lively learning lab!
We were honoured to have the Principal, Mr. Shashikant Mishra, and our Primary Coordinator, Mrs. Manpreet Chawla, actively involved in this activity. They not only encouraged the children but also shared simple and relatable examples from daily life – like the difference between a big suitcase and a small bag, or a heavy watermelon and a light apple – making the learning even more meaningful and practical.
🎈 This activity helped develop the children’s logical thinking, observation skills, and vocabulary, while reinforcing math concepts in a fun-loving and memorable way.
📸 Don’t miss the pictures of our curious explorers in action – thinking, smiling, and learning with joy!
