Aryabhatta International School, Barnala organised a meaningful Hindi Speech Activity for the students of Class IX on the topic “Animal Rights and Our Responsibility.”
The activity aimed to nurture love, kindness, compassion and sensitivity towards animals and birds among students. Through their speeches, students expressed thoughtful ideas about the rights of animals to live a safe, protected and dignified life.
Student Navjot Sharma delivered an impressive speech and highlighted that just as human beings have the right to life, safety and respect, animals too deserve care, protection and humane treatment. The student also beautifully referred to Mahadevi Verma’s renowned lesson “Gillu”, conveying the message of love and compassion towards animals.
Students emphasised the importance of providing food and clean water to animals, helping injured animals, caring for stray animals and protecting the environment. Their active participation reflected a growing sense of responsibility towards all living beings.
🌿 Principal Ms. Mansi Singhal appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and emphasised that “Compassion towards animals is a true reflection of humanity.” She encouraged students to treat every living being with love, kindness and respect.
